This month, on October 3rd, 18 new participants began their P.A.C.E. program. This experience is a direct response to the workforce shortage in the construction industry. Participants will have two weeks of intensive construction training focused on safety training and power tool workshops. Upon competition, students will begin on-the-job rotations with Reliable Restorations, Metrolina Greenhouses, Catalyst, and Price Brothers, Inc. Rotations with employers will allow the students to gain hands-on experience, learn the career potential in those companies and trades, and build their professional networks.
