Multicultural Inclusive Integration Mural with Silvia Levenson

During the week of May 16th, we hosted Silvia Levenson’s workshop with students from the Olympic High School. Levenson, originally from Argentina, is a glass professional artist.

By using ceramic tiles and screen-printing techniques, students challenged their creative talents and created a collaborative mural that reflected the diversity and integrity of the community. Each participant’s screen-printed tiles represent their own vision, values, and personal perspectives. Students gained recognition and a sense of community by working together on and the final mural was exhibited at the Mint Museum Uptown.

“The result was incredible because the students experimented with new ways of representing images and collaborated with each other.” - Silvia Levenson
