The Craft & Trade Academy wants to continue training the next generation in the trades. That is why we attend and take part in various events to raise awareness and inform young people about their potential careers in construction.

We were part of the Generation T immersion event to introduce 150 students from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) youth programs to trade careers. Most of the students had never been exposed to careers in the skilled trades. They created with us small mosaic pieces. Students mixed the thinnest and designed a pattern with small multi-colored tiles, then grouted their piece to finish it.
